Q1: Do you ask for a deposit?
Yes we ask for a deposit of 50% of the total package booked. This is
the initial booking fee that secures you a place in our diary.
Q2: When is the final payment due?
The balance of payment has to be made no later than 2 weeks before the
date of the wedding. This allows us to finalize all the formalities
before your wedding day so that we can concentrate on the job at hand
and avoid delays in delivering your DVD copies.
Q3: When do I get my copies?
Our aim is to have your copies delivered within 28 days of the wedding
day but this can take up to 56 days especially during the busy period
from June to September. We do not do a hurried job, which can result
to a less than perfect quality video. Editing is what transforms the
video to something special, unique and truly memorable. We will spend
up to five full days editing to ensure that the final product is flawless.
Q4: Do you charge for extra copies of my video?
Yes, each extra copy of DVD is £20 + p&p. Beavad Video Productions
owns the copyrights and we ask that you contact us for any extra copies.
Q5: Do you charge mileage?
We do not charge mileage for the first 40 miles from our base in Langley,
Slough. We only charge the AA recommended rate of 40p per mile after
the 40 miles radius.
Q6: Can you stay later than my package allows?
Our packages will cover all the events of an average wedding but should
you require additional hours we can to arrange this. We charge an extra
£50 per hour and there is a £100 charge for every hour past midnight.
Q7: Who does the filming and editing?
Beavad Video Productions has it's own camera operators who have a distinct
style of filming which ensures that every precious moment is captured
on film and thereby paving the way for our unique style of editing.
Q8: How will my film be made?
We use the Sony PD-170 or Sony Z1 cameras to film all our weddings.
This are broadcast quality cameras preferred by most professional wedding
and event videographers. After capturing all the shots on tape we bring
them back to our editing suite. We use Avid Liquid Pro, a powerful and
professional non-linear editing suite used by many filmmakers around
the world.
Q9: Is permission required from the church or registry
office for the video coverage?
You will need to inform your minister or registrar in advance about
our presence at the wedding so as to avoid complications on the day.
All the same we film in a very unobtrusive way and you will hardly notice
our presence. Please inform them that we will be positioned at a strategic
position near the Bride and Groom. We will arrive early enough in order
to consult the minister or registrar on positioning and any other issues.
